ZITF – Zimbabwe International Trade Fair
26th April – 3rd May 2015
Sassda represented fifteen member companies at the recent ZITF in Bulawayo. Several other members of Sassda formed part of the South African delegation. The organisation from the ZITF side as well as the dti was excellent.
The traffic through the show was good and many brochures were handed out to interested parties, but some sixteen specific enquiries were received from companies who had specific requirements and who left their contact details (these have been distributed to the members that were represented at the event).
Key areas of interest were:
• Mining industry;
• Food & beverage processing industry;
• Architectural applications;
• Raw material, including tube & pipe.
Other Member stands included Delberg Engineering, Rock Solid Industries, Smoothedge and Stainless Connection.
The South African Stand at ZITF won the best stand at the show for the fifth year running.

Sassda Training Courses
The long awaited handling and fabrication of stainless steel course for warehouse and workshop employees was launched at the beginning of May 2015.
There has been a great demand from members for this course.
This is evident from the number of bookings received from members waiting to train their employees. The learners that have been to the course thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the interactive activities and games that reinforce what has been learned, while the employers felt that the course is relevant to their day to day jobs and that they should be able to apply what was learned at work.
Sassda is able to conduct this course at your premises when requested. Book now!!!
KZN GOLF DAY
