Despite the challenges we face, this is also South Africa’s time to shine as we focus on beefing up local supply chains or as we like to describe them, value chains and championing the country’s output and expertise, especially in the stainless steel sector.

Fortunately, government is also keen to assist local producers, with a series of relief packages being put in place which News24.com describes as; “a raft of quick targeted interventions to buoy SA’s economy”

In fact, there is already some relief for companies in dire straits due to the effects of the virus. For example, UIF support should you need to temporary close your factory.
