Buyers’ Guide Now Available

A Stainless Steel Buyers’ Guide is now available in South Africa for the first time.  The guide, issued by the Southern Africa Stainless Steel Development Association, has more than 220 different sub-headings, which include products, semi-fabricated forms, services and sources.

The guide, which is based on the American production issued by the American Iron and Steel Institute, is divided into four main headings, each one sub-divided, in order to include every company handling stainless steel.  For example, under “Products,” the first heading, more than 180 products, varying from cotter pins to soda-fountain equipment, are listed.

Copies of the Stainless Steel Buyers’ Guide are available, free of charge, to anyone interested from the Secretary, S.A.S.S.D.A., P.O. Box 49, Parklands, Johannesburg.
