Process Pipe Co (Pty) Ltd was established in 1969 to serve the Mining, Chemical and Petro-Chemical Industries, and their traditional range of products which include piping, tubing, fittings, Flanges and Fabrication have recently been extended to the stainless steel field.
The company has reliable and longstanding relationships with traditional suppliers for both stainless steel and carbon steel products, and has therefore experienced phenomenal growth in the stainless steel division since it was established two years ago.
So much so that they are currently extending their stockholding in stainless steel to include up to 305 mm piping,with fittings and flanges to suit. In addition to Schedule 80 piping in the sizerange 25-50 mm.
In addition to a flange shop, Process Pipe Co also have a facility for the rolling and manufacture of large bore pipe (350-760 mm), 304 and 316 stainless steels being ex-stock and special stainlesses on request. The company also manufactures 3,000 lb and 6,000 lb fittings, including threadolets and weldolets to order.
The company sees the future for stainless steel piping and tubing in South Africa as extremely positive for growth both from materials substitution and new applications, and from general infra-structure growth in capital intensive projects.
